Discovered over on Thomas Hawk’s blog that my nPost interview had been posted. I know, I know, I did the interview, I should have noticed when it went up, my bad. Thanks Thomas!

I did the interview over the phone a month or two ago, and thought it was a lot of fun. Looks like there are some minor typos in the transcription (or I didn’t speak clearly enough on the phone), but you’ll get the general idea.

I had no idea I ended up with such a great summary sentence (which I re-used for the title of this blog post), but there it is. My secret formula. 🙂

    Terrific interview. And your conversion rate is amazing. Very impressive.
    You guys obviously know what you’re doing and it’s great to get a little insight into a successfull competitor in this market.

    I enjoyed your comments about your customers.

    I think people really underestimate how important it is to take care of the customer. I’m not just talking about online companies either. The interaction between the company and the customer, no matter how small, plays a huge part in determining whether or not someone walks away with a positive or a negative experience. And those experiences are going to directly affect your brand’s value. No question.
